In 1967 N. Mol B.V. was founded by our managing director Mr N.I.M. Mol. His business started by trading in leather, chains, snap hooks and metal accessories for leather manufacturing. Having experience in the trade of leather, the company started a production of "dog chews" from imported buffalo raw hide. These raw hide dog chews were delivered to wholesalers in pet products.
Being established in Drunen, located in the heart of the Dutch leather industry area where good skilled labourers are available, N. Mol B.V. soon began to produce more (leather) products for the pet industry.
Nowadays we supply importers, manufacturers and wholesalers in the pet and leather industry and about 90% of our sales is export. In the past 30 years, the family firm has grown to a distributor and producer of pet accessories of international importance.
In our leather manufacturing department, 15 employees are producing leather goods for dogs and cats of a high quality. Thanks to the rich leather-working tradition of our region, any design or wish of the customer can be translated into a product of first quality. Besides the leather items, our company produces rubber massage brushes for dogs and cats, dog protection slips, winter mantles and more. Our products are made to order and individual specifications can be catered for. Also private label products can be supplied. Even so, the delivery time is short: only two to three weeks.
The increasing popularity of cats as domestic pets in Europe was 15 year ago reason to start supplying functional sisal cat scratch articles.
All made from natural materials and with real catnip. This herb behind the woven sisal is very attractive to cats. These quality products have proved to be very successful in the European market.
In Drunen we keep large stocks in the imported goods which we distribute all over Europe. Any kind of dog chain in different material and size can be delivered promptly. Each individual chain has been tested for its tension strength which guarantees the quality. Further to the distribution of dog chains, also a few millions of snap hooks are supplied from our warehouse to producers on a yearly base. The product range of metalware further includes buckles, D-rings, welded rings, loops, rivets etc. Together with the required tools and machines in which we deal, a leather manufacturer will find all of it's "metal needs" at N. Mol B.V.
